Enjoyed the place, had a truly memorable stay during visit of Sumatra. The location was marvellous in a comfortable area, short walk to the markets, Indonesia in particular nice, and the city center. Also, Gundaling Hill was 2 km away.

We had a great time at this cozy guesthouse! the staff was accommodating and even provided us with an extra room for prayer. the rooms and toilets were spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was delicious. the location was convenient, close to the fruit market and JABU restaurant.

Comfortable and clean room with a large wardrobe. Bed was big and comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful, assisting with tour and travel arrangements. Free breakfast was nice and included. Hotel manager was attentive and offered alternatives to tours.

While the price was reasonable considering the location, the comfort level of the room was not the best. The room in the main building was old and worn, with a carpeted floor and a broken flush in the bathroom.

I got great value for my money at Sapo Karo Rest House. The room was clean, beautiful, and comfortable. The location was convenient, within walking distance to the main street and market. The staff were friendly and even helped me find delicious local food and gave recommendations for places to visit in Medan.

Food for breakfast could have been better.
